Small Business Workshop

When to Hire, How to Hire, Who to Hire… Interns.

One of the greatest chasms into today’s small business world is the need for good talent. I’m sure many of you have experienced the “chicken or the egg” syndrome where you want/need to hire someone but you don’t have the time, don’t have the money, can’t find the right talent, and/or are uncomfortable in the overall hiring process… so where do you begin??

This is one of those things that many small businesses owners struggle with and few talk about.

UNTIL NOW.

Each of us at Intern America, having built my of our own businesses have felt these similar pains and frustrations, know first hand how much of a feat this really can be. BUT, it doesn’t have to be. Now, you really can grow confident in your hiring process AND find the right talent who not only can fit the values and culture of your company but also provide incoming resources to help YOUR company grow, while also creating their own position within the business  no matter how small or big it may be.

During this workshop, we intend to expel any myths, pains, frustrations, or road blocks in your hiring process.

We intend to lift the veil and show you how hiring the right individuals really can be just the “thing” you have needed all this time. And, we intend to show you how you can do all of this by simply bringing on interns.

There are SO many BENEFITS to hiring interns and in this 3 hour workshop we are going to help you identify:

  • When you really do need this kind of talent
  • Who it is that fits this ideal talent
  • How you go about hiring them in a seamless, stress-less way
  • And, our guest speaker, Tara Griffin with Employer Essentials, will show you can turn this intern into a long – term, sustainable employee!!!
